Statement
Inspired by nature, I create images and structures that arise from the unconscious and from memories of my own experiences in contact with the natural world. My work balances between abstract, expressionism and figuration. It represents a deep personal relationship and strong connection with nature.
Through an experimental and introspective process, I look for different ways to reconnect with nature. I try to rediscover and externalise my own perception of reality and everything that surrounds me, recreating it. Through disciplines such as painting and sculpture, I am in a constant search for new forms of expression.
An important aspect of my working methodology is to explore different techniques and the spontaneous interaction between materials, bringing together shapes, textures and vibrant colours: connecting, overlapping, intertwining and fusing in different ways. As part of my creative process, the action itself and the spontaneous also become a gestural and fundamental contribution to my work.
